I didn't receive my SMS activation codeYou mobile provider may be experiencing slight delays, or we may not support the country your mobile phone is registed in. Click here to see a full list of countries we support.
If you don't receive your SMS activation code with in 5 minutes, go here and to have it re-sent.
I didn't get to set a password when signing upThis is due to the registration process not being fully completed. Creating your password is the last step in the account creation process. To complete your free account go to the completion page
Can I have more than 1 accountEach account requires a unique mobile number, so you may have multiple accounts however if a mobile number for any account becomes inactive, your account will be instantly closed.
Furthermore, we have a policy of max 1 accounts per person. If you have more than 1, you must contact us to let us know so that the hounds don't come knocking on your door later.
Will you charge my mobile phoneSMSFun does not operate any premium SMS services at all. You will never be charged by SMSFun on your phone, ever.
How can I add new photos to my profileUploading your new pics is simple, just go to the upload new photos page in your account, in the Profiles menu.
How to I make my profile private so nobody can view itYou have the option to either make your profile totally private so nobody can view it, so only friends can view, or that anyone can view.
These settings you can modify in your Account Preferences under the My Account tab.
How do I verify my profile and how does it workSome aspects of the site require your profile to be verified. Being verified adds credibility to your profile and proves to other members that you are indeed a real person, and not a robot or someone else.
To verify your photo you need to take 3 photos of yourself in different poses/situations. These can change from time to time depending on requirements.
For an up to date list, and to submit your pics, proceed to the photo upload area in the Profiles & Photos drop down menu.
How do I change my usernameTo change your user name, go into your account profile through the My Account tab in the top menu.
You can only change your user name twice per year, so make it count!

Currently, you can only send MMS messages to Australian mobile numbers.
Are there any limits to sending SMSThere are soft limits which every account is subject to, which increase the more active you are on the website.
Specific limits for your account can be viewed under My Account -> Preferences.

I sent a SMS but my friend didn't receive it, what happenedThere is many many reasons why this may have happened.
Was their phone off at the time, are they overseas, do they have network coverage in the exact location they are at? Is there a network backlog caused by their mobile provider?
When you send an SMS from SMSFun, the message is instantly inserted into the 'SMS cloud' to be delivered to the handset. Once it hits this point it's impossible for us to control.
Gold Members have the ability to view delivery reports for every SMS sent, so you are able to see the status of a message, where it's at, when it was delivered, and if not - why.
Will it cost me to send sms from this siteNo, Free SMS means it's free. Enjoy!
My friends receive messages twice when I SMS themThis is very rare, although it can happen. Basically this is your friends mobile network playing up and updating their position slowly, resulting in messages and phone calls dropping out. Not a lot can be done to fix on our end, unfortunately.
Number Alert! This number may not be supportedYou may see this message if the mobile number you are sending to resides in a country that SMSFun doesn't support sending SMS to. If you feel the number is correct, and we do support sending - go a head and send it. Seeing this warning won't actually affect the delivery of the SMS. It's there to alert you that something may be wrong with the number in advance.
What are JoobzJoobz is the currency of SMSFun. You collect and earn Joobz to use on products/services around the community. More info is available here.
Do Joobz expireJoobz will not expire at all so long as you log in to your account once every 6 months. If you do not log into your account for 6 months, all your Joobz will expire.
I completed an offer but didnt get any JoobzSurveys/Offers under the 'Offers' tab are operated by a third party. This means you are doing a survey with them, and they are crediting your account with Joobz. You need to submit a request with them to claim missing Joobz. To do this, go to the offers page and hit 'Claim missing Joobz'.
Where have my Joobz goneYou can view a history of your Joobz earning and spending in the Joobz History tab.
Can I transfer JoobzYou sure can. There is a minimum of 50 Joobz per transfer, and you will be charged 10% of the amount as a transfer fee.
I purchased prepaid credit but did not receive confirmation or a voucherAll successful transactions are listed in your account billing history, viewable in the top menu by going to My Account -> Billing History.
If a transaction does not appear here after 20 minutes, it means you were not charged and you should redo the transaction.
If you paid using Paypal ECheque/Bank Account, your transaction may take up to 5 working days to process by Paypal. We do discourage use of this payment method because it takes so long. Once you payment clears, you need to open a support ticket with the transaction details and you will be credited in Joobz to complete the transaction.
What countries do you support prepaid credit forCurrently only Australia
Can I purchase prepaid credit for my ipad or other wireless device?Prepaid credit on SMSFun is issued using a voucher system, similar to how point of sale transactions take place (like supermarkets or 7eleven). You are issued with a voucher number, which you can then use to apply to any prepaid account on that network.
You can even buy credit for someone else, or use it on any sim card that is prepaid on that network.

Does my card get automatically charged each monthYou are billed for Gold Membership on the renewal date every month by the payment method you selected originally when signing up. You can stop payment/cancel this at any time in your billing history under the My Account tab.
To cancel, you only need to give 24 hours notice before the next rebill.
Why should I upgrade to GoldBeing a gold member grants you unrestricted access to all areas of the site, enables more features, higher limits, a special gold member badge and many other status enhancing privileges.
You will also be helping to support SMSFun.
Abuse/Reporting other members
How does content get moderatedWe have a team of moderators and admins who take swift action against inappropriate content posted on the site.
As always, nothing is perfect so if you see something that isn't quite right, please help by clicking the report button.
I need to report a member for doing something badIf you received a private message with SPAM, harassment or similar - click on the 'report message' link inside the message. This will send it directly to the administrators for review.
Otherwise, you can contact a moderator or open a new support ticket.
How does moderation work on SMSFun?SMSFun has both paid and unpaid moderators that work across all areas of the community. Moderators do their best to keep the site safe for everyone. Moderated Content: If a moderator is required to take action against an account holder, that account holder is charged a fee for the interaction. Kind of like a fine.
What is Fun Tools and how does it workFun Tools are cool features you get access to once you unlock them from your profile.
Once unlocked, you can use them again and again without having to re-unlock them at a later stage.

Hot Member Contest
Can I opt-out of the contestYes, every month in the first 20days, you have the option to remove yourself from the contest. To do this, go to the hot member page and scroll down to the bottom, where there is an opt-out link.
If you opt out, you cannot opt-in again that month.
You cannot opt-out if you make it to the 2nd round of voting after the 20th of the month.

How long does my order take to be processed and delivered?Once we receive your order it is reviewed by our team with in 21 working days.
Any items which are virtual are delivered instantly to your SMSFun account.
Physical items, such as mobile phones and tshirts are mailed to the address you provide us with in the order process. You can expect to have received everything you order with in 8 weeks.
How do I order more than 1 of a product?Simply add the same item to your cart again. It will then show one line item for each product you order.
Can I return items?SMSFun does not accept returns for any reason under any circumstances. All purchases are final.
Does it cost anything for shipping? How is it sent?All products are shipped include free shipping to Australia and New Zealand.
Australian customers will receive their products by registered mail, express post or courier. International orders outside these countries will not be able to purchase physical goods at this time.
